The one-way wheel of the generator is used to relieve the impact of the generator and regulate the power generation when the vehicle is accelerating and decelerating rapidly.

The one-way pulley of the generator is composed of an outer ring matching the cross-sectional shape of the multi-v belt, a clutch unit composed of a stamped inner ring, an outer ring and a double needle roller bearing, a shaft sleeve and two sealing rings.

Working principle of one-way wheel: its basic principle is similar to that of the one-way clutch gear on the starter, which has the function of one-way slip. At the moment before the engine stops running, the engine crankshaft has a short rotation in the positive and negative directions. The one-way bearing is used. When the engine speed is lower than the generator speed, the generator bearing will be separated.

Characteristics of generator one-way pulley:

It has one-way slip performance, and its basic principle is similar to the one-way clutch gear on the starter.

There is a plastic cover on the port to prevent dust from entering the interior, commonly known as the dust cover.

And directly rotates on the rotor shaft by means of the thread on the back surface thereof.

The one-way pulley is wedge-shaped, so that the generator has good performance in operation.

Special tools must be used for fixing or dismounting: due to the particularity of the structure, the new pulley must be tightened or dismounted with special tools. The main part of the special tools must be equipped with a mandrel matching the teeth in the pulley.
