Will the belt jump if the one-way wheel of the generator is broken?

The generator does not have a one-way wheel, only a pulley and bearings. If it's a pulley, there might be noise or the belt could come off.
When the generator one-way clutch fails and gets stuck, it can cause abrupt acceleration and deceleration without buffering, resulting in abnormal noises during startup and rattling sounds even with slight throttle inputs. If these symptoms occur, please immediately visit the 4S shop for inspection, repair, or replacement.
The engine is equipped with a turbocharger to increase air intake, thereby enhancing engine power. If the turbocharger fails, it loses its boosting effect, reducing air intake or causing the turbo to stall and create resistance, leading to a significant drop in engine power, difficulty in acceleration, and black smoke emissions.
The one-way wheel of the car generator, also known as the one-way pulley, serves to mitigate the impact on the generator during rapid acceleration and deceleration of the vehicle, as well as to regulate the power output. Typically, the generator is equipped with fixed bearings, and the actions of accelerating and decelerating while driving cause the belt to constantly tighten and loosen.
The working principle of a unidirectional pulley: Its basic mechanism resembles that of a one-way clutch in a starter motor, featuring a one-way slip function. Just before the engine stops, the crankshaft experiences a brief reverse rotation. By using a one-way bearing, when the engine speed is lower than the generator's, the generator bearing disengages. In the aforementioned scenario, the engine drops to 1,500 RPM, while the generator continues to operate at approximately 3,000 RPM until internal resistance slows it down.
